Who We Are

AI adoption is a human problem first.

ScarlettNova exists because the gap between AI strategy and operational reality is now the most expensive gap in most businesses.

Chris Doré

I spent fifteen years operating inside organizations as a transformation lead before crossing the table — I've sat on both sides of the consulting contract, which is why ScarlettNova is built differently.

Most AI work I see is technically competent — and operationally inert. Models get deployed, dashboards get built, decks get presented — and six months later, the daily work hasn't changed. ScarlettNova exists to close that gap. AI policy, strategy, custom tool creation, automation, and the behavioral layer most consultancies outsource: one operating system, one partner.

Background

Professor, entrepreneur, and AI strategist. Building ventures, teaching students, and convincing organizations that AI is neither a fad nor the beginning of Skynet.

What I believe

AI doesn't transform organizations. People using AI do. So empower people!

Fun fact

A super nerd who loves reading, Star Wars, Marvel, and being a cringey dad.

Julie Lavergne

Twenty years shaping enterprise strategy at the intersection of technology and operations. Julie ensures every AI initiative ScarlettNova takes on is tied to measurable business outcomes and executable roadmaps.

Successful AI adoption starts with better thinking, not better technology. I help leaders make sharper decisions about AI, navigate the leadership and people challenges of adoption, and redesign work so AI delivers measurable business outcomes.

Background

Strategy consulting and enterprise transformation across financial services, healthcare, and public sector.

What she believes

AI should elevate human judgment, not replace it. The organizations that create lasting advantage will be those that use AI to strengthen how people think, decide, and work together.

Fun fact

I've traveled to as many countries as I am years old—and I'm still adding to the list.

Julian White

Eighteen years building and scaling technology platforms across cloud, data, and now AI. Julian owns the technical architecture and delivery rigor behind every ScarlettNova implementation.

He leads solution design, model selection, integration planning, and security posture — ensuring that what gets built is robust, maintainable, and aligned to the organization's existing technology estate. His team ships systems that last.

Background

Engineering leadership in SaaS, enterprise platforms, and AI-native product companies.

What he believes

The best technology is invisible. If people notice the system, the system is in the way.

Fun fact

Started coding at age 12 on a Commodore home computer and still has the computer.

Heather Cayouette, CIPP/C, CIPT

Over twenty years helping small and mid-sized organizations build smarter, safer, more scalable operations. At ScarlettNova, Heather brings that same lens to the governance and privacy work behind every AI engagement.

Strong AI governance isn't a compliance checkbox — it's a leadership imperative. Done right, it becomes a strategic differentiator: protecting the organization and its clients from risk, giving staff the clarity to adopt with confidence, and building structures flexible enough to bend as the technology changes, instead of rigid rules that break under it.

Background

Certified Privacy Professional. Founder, Firefly Strategic Consulting. Brings a systems-thinking approach that connects strategy, operations, and risk — and makes governance and privacy practical rather than overwhelming. Author, Reset the System.

What I believe

Governance shouldn't restrict how a business works — it should work with it. Get it right from the start, and risk management stops being an afterthought and becomes automatic.

Fun fact

A lover of all things Lego — turns out sorting a few thousand pieces into something that works is good practice for data governance. Two teenagers keep the skill sharp.

Where we operate

AI specialists with deep domain roots.

We are AI practitioners first — but we don't parachute in with generic playbooks. Our team has operated inside the industries we serve, which means we understand the regulatory, cultural, and operational context before the first workshop begins.

Public Sector & Government

Policy, procurement, and service delivery at scale. We know how to navigate governance frameworks without slowing execution.

Financial Services

Risk, compliance, and member-facing operations. From credit unions to wealth managers, we build tools that pass audit and get used.

Healthcare & Life Sciences

Clinical workflow, data privacy, and patient experience. AI that respects the environment it operates in.

Federations & Associations

Member value, advocacy operations, and distributed teams. We help bodies with complex stakeholder maps move with clarity.

How we work

Four principles. No exceptions.

01

Operational, not theatrical.

We don't ship slideware. Every engagement ends with AI inside the daily flow of work — or we haven't done our job.

02

Adoption is the deliverable.

Deployment is the easy part. We measure success in usage, behavior change, and outcomes — not in features shipped.

03

Right-sized engagements.

No bloated teams. Senior practitioners only. We come in, do the work, transfer the muscle, and leave you stronger.

04

Honesty over upsell.

If AI isn't the answer for a problem, we'll say so. Trust compounds; consulting hours don't.

Let's talk about where AI is stuck in your organization.
